Cable Length Measuring Machine, 15 mm Max. Diameter

A robust multi-purpose measuring machine, which measures the length of cable, wire, rope, hose & tubing.

The 2630-132CA will measure any continuous material up to 15mm (0.59in) in diameter through front and back guides, under its 250mm circumference, spring tensioned polyurethane measuring wheel.

The precision ground measuring wheel runs in self-lubricating bearings above a nylon roller providing reliable measuring accuracy.

Easily unhook the tension springs from their anchor to pivot the measuring head to its backstop whilst you switch your product, allowing you to change jobs and your measured materials in a matter of seconds.

The tension springs can be adjusted quickly and set to your minimum amount of tension required to prevent slippage, whilst not being too excessive to mark, strain, or damage your product in anyway.

Any of the standard duty 3000 series mechanical revolution counters or shaft encoders can be fitted to this machine. If a shaft encoder is fitted, the output can be directed to any type of counter with an electronic input.

Applications include batching wire from production to distribution reels, field use in cable laying operations, cable TV installation and the retail dispensing of short lengths of cable.
