3 Pole, K-Frame Moulded Case Circuit Breaker, 35 kAIC

3 Pole MCCB, 250 Amp rated,  Series C, factory assembled thermal magnetic Moulded Case Circuit Breaker (MCCB) with OPTIM interchangeable trip unit, consisting of the frame, trip unit and terminals.  A capable HACR rated K- Frame circuit breaker with non-interchangeable trip units suitable for reverse feed use.

MCCBs are reusable electromechanical devices that protect an electrical circuit from short circuits and overloading. Moulded Case Circuit Breakers are utilised in a wide range of industrial and domestic applications and can be found in a distribution board providing protection to electrical components within each separate circuit.

MCCBs are ideal for general purpose circuit protection, protecting low-voltage distribution circuits as well as motor loads, and they are selected based upon the maximum load current and maximum short-circuit the MCCB has to interrupt safety. If an MCCB is being used as backup protection for a motor its selection will be based on the starting current of the motor.
