Photoelectric Retro-reflective Sensor, 5 Metre Range, PNP Output
The SICK WL8G-P2231 Miniature Photoelectric sensor utilises a visible red pinpoint LED light source, monitoring that beam in order to trigger a process response should the beam be interrupted by an object. This clever sensor features standard optics, variable sensitivity via a single teach in button, robust stainless steel body and inox glass optics, PNP output, M12 x 4 pin connector and IP69k rating. These sensors are ideal for high-speed production lines that require rapid object detection of transparent and shiny objects and sensors capable of regular washdowns.
Common applications for photoelectric sensors include the automotive industry, controlling the transport of components and engine sub-assemblies, production processes, safety systems and material handling systems for easier transporting of goods. Easy to set-up, the WLG4S visible light source aids and the variable potentiometer aid installation and no enhanced safety measures are needed.
