Photoelectric Proximity Sensor with Background Suppression
The SICK WT150 Photoelectric Sensor utilises a visible red light source, monitoring that beam in order to trigger a process response should the beam be interrupted by an object. This capable sensor features potentiometer sensitivity adjustment, robust ABS plastic body, PNP output, visible red light beam and status LED. The precise background suppression built-in to this sensor helps reduce false readings caused by stray background reflections.
Common applications for photoelectric sensor includes, controlling the transport of components, production processes, safety systems and material handling systems and other industrial applications. Easy to install, the visible red light spot and the potentiometer allows for rapid set-up and installation. The fast reaction time of this Photoelectric Sensor ensures reliable detection of difficult objects at fast processing line speeds in demanding situations increasing throughput and helping to reduce overheads.
