Square Bodied Fuse, 900A, 690 Volts, Tag Mount
A 900A square bodied fuse, high-speed low-voltage fuse designed to open rapidly and is the ideal solution for high-power applications which require a compact design offering superior performance. The fuse contact surfaces are electroplated with layer of tin that provides an excellent electrical and thermal interface.
A high-speed square body fuse contains a sacrificial link that melts extremely quickly when excessive current passes through it isolating the overloaded or possibly faulty circuit. Square body high-speed fuses have a high cycle rate and are designed to minimise peak current let through and arc voltage. Square body fuses are not resettable and must be replaced when blown.
Typical applications for square body fuses include the power converters/rectifiers, DC common bus, DC drives, transformers, reduced voltage starters and other industrial control gear.
