Because it is a programmable frequency meter, it also can be configured to accurately measure DC pulses. The LCD display, unique to the APM range, incorporates the instant recognition of traditional analogue panel frequency meters with the precision and accuracy of modern digital panel meters.

This combination provides an immediate visual indication of critical parameters and clear accurate readings. This improves performance monitoring, cost effectiveness and increases safety. 

The 40-segment bar graph can be programmed to the scale you require while the positive and negative and centre zero scales can also be configured. The dynamic backlight can be tailored to alert the user whenever a critical parameter is out of set range and the backlit display can be set to flash and/or change colour (or intensity) between red, green and white.

With its two outputs ? one analogue, one digital ? the panel meter can interface with other systems, including generators, beacons, sounders, or other indicators, for even clearer notification of frequency.
