The CDV75M is a hollow shaft absolute encoder that creates a unique digital code for each angle of the rotating shaft and can maintain its positional information even when powered down, safe according to SIL 3 / Ple. Capable and durable, this rotary encoder is ideal for acquiring mechanical positioning positions in multiple industries including steel production, wind power plants, cranes, and ship construction.

The standard PROFINET interface guarantees optimal safety and precision. The ATEX-compliant housing variant offers additional protection in explosive atmospheres. Separate modules are necessary for reliable position output, and there is no need to separately program a safety module.
