Safety Laser Scanner, Triple Field Sets, 16 Sets, 48 Fields

This capable Automatic Guided Vehicle Scanner (AGVs), part of SICK’s S300 Expert range, meets the exacting requirements and the demands of mobile vehicle applications thanks to its extensive functionality. Up to 16 protective fields can be configured and the triple field mode allows three fields, one protective field and two warning fields, to be activated at the same time during operation. 48 fields in total.

The integrated EFI interface extends interoperability with other SICK safety laser scanners and safety controllers. Using this capable Laser Scanner means automatic guided vehicles (AGVs) can be given all around protection and matching safety fields, regardless of speed. The configuration memory integrated into the system plug also enables simple commissioning and quick replacement.

Typical applications include the protection, navigation, and support of automatic guided vehicles with direction and speed-based protective field switching, and the protection of transfer vehicles and overhead electric conveyors.
