The assessment focuses on 7 founding principles, and 21 sustainability criteria that is grouped into 4 categories, these being - Environment, Labour & Human Rights, Ethics and Sustainable Procurement.

EDA

Kempston Controls are an affiliate member of the Electrical Distributors Association (EDA), a trade association that was developed to represent the interests of wholesale distributors, manufacturers, and solution and service providers of electrotechnical products within the UK.

As part of our affiliate EDA membership, we are also signed up to EDATA, which serves as a single source of E-Commerce friendly product data for manufacturers, wholesalers, and B2B buyers.

ECA

Kempston Controls is also a commercial associate of The Electrical Contractors' Association (ECA). Formed in 1901, the ECA is a trade association that represents the interests of companies in the electrotechnical and wider engineering services industry in the UK.

The ECA works diligently on improving standards, providing technical support and guidance to the industry as well as creating a sustainable business environment to help deliver and drive growth within these sectors.
