ATEX Sounders
ATEX Sounders are an essential safety
critical part of an industrial audio alert system within an intrinsically safe
environment, alerting personnel, audibly to dangers and process conditions. In
intrinsically safe environments, flammable
gases, mists, vapours or combustible dust can cause a dangerous explosive
atmosphere, equipment that functions in these areas needs to be incapable of
causing ignition.
ATEX Sounders can be used in conjunction with ATEX rated Beacons,
manual actuators and other equipment to suit the application, such as
production line stop, machine failure etc. ATEX Sounders are available in a
wide range of size, voltage and audio abilities such as altering frequency and
tone of the audible alarm.
