Pneumatic Guided Cylinders are utilised in industry to move heavy objects attached laterally to factory equipment, their hard wearing construction includes ball bearing guides that help to absorb the forces of heavy products/jigs/equipment being moved sideways. Guided cylinders use one pneumatic cylinder but have built-in guide blocks that ensure the forces exerted by side loading are distributed evenly to keep the loads balanced during motion preventing them from falling.
