Pneumatic Timers

Pneumatic timers are utilised in industrial installations where time needs to be measured when it is unsafe such as in potentially explosive environmental conditions where electricity could be dangerous.

Most Pneumatic Timers typically use a chamber and a piston to measure time, air enters the chamber, pushing the piston and allowing for a precise time to be set. Using this design, Pneumatic timers do not generate any errant sparks that could cause fires or explosions. 

Certain models of Pneumatic Timers have ATEX Certification and are suitable for use in dangerous environmental conditions. When choosing the ideal timer for your installation consideration needs to be given to the maximum and minimum operating pressures, temperatures and time required.
