OVR Type 1 Surge Protection Device, Single Pole

ABB’s dependable OVR Type 1 single pole surge protection device has been designed to discharge high current surges without any destruction to the electrical installation it is protecting. This surge protection device is characterised by its capacity to withstand impulse current with a 10/350 µs wave form which simulate natural lightning current.

This surge protection device has a high impulse current withstand capacity ensuring a low protection level (Up). SPDs can be installed at the entrance in the main switch board for a global protection of the electrical installation.
