This capable Compressor Soft Starter helps to soften the current demand on a single-phase electrical supply, allowing a compressor's electric motor to start slower and prevent damage to the rest of the electrical systems components from high current surges.
The starting current of electric motors can be six to eight times higher than the nominal current and are a common cause of problems in other equipment on the same network. Power interruptions to electronic computers and server systems can cause a system shutdown, data loss and other such issues. Single phase electric supply networks are sensitive to electrical surge problems and this Soft Starter is ideal in limiting the starting current of single phase motors.
